It is located on the north coast of the picturesque island of Crete, close to Heraklion, almost directly in the centre of the island. The area was home to the Minoan civilization, an ancient Cretan culture that represents a stage in the development of the Aegean civilization.The hotel is set in attractive gardens with 110 whitewashed bungalows designed in order to ensure exclusivity and privacy, with the gardens sloping away from the 26 rooms towards the main building, and down to the long sandy beach. The Aegean village atmosphere prevails in this delightful hotel which offers a high standard of accommodation in a tranquil setting. The bungalow complex also comprises a 24-hour reception and a garage. For younger guests there is a children's playground and kids' club. Internet access and room and laundry services are also provided.The bungalows are scattered around the colourful garden and come with a bath/shower, WC, hairdryer, direct-dial telephone, ceiling fan and individually regulated air conditioning and heating. Other features include satellite TV, a fridge, safe and a large terrace with a breathtaking view of the Cretan Sea.
