The Best Western Hotel Zen brings together Buddhist symbolism and on the other hand, art from the Ecuadorian Pre-Incasic Culture, Valdivia. The hotel is located in a commercial and residential area, close to the most important business and financial centers of the capital, along with restaurants, shopping malls, public transportation, just 35 minutes away from New Quito International Airport, and 15 minutes away from the old town. Our 47 rooms are equipped with a large work area, access to high-speed internet, phone, safe deposit box, and mini bar. Room service is available from some of the renowned restaurants in the city. Guests will also enjoy a free full breakfast in our cafeteria from 6 a.m. until 10 a.m., as well as our business center and fitness facilities. The Best Western Hotel Zen is the first sustainable hotel in the city that does not use fossil fuels in order to operate and has a negative carbon footprint because it uses a building that has been completely rebuilt. It also has a technological water heating system called Heat Pump, LED lighting throughout the building and applies a waste recycling system.
